Happy Veterans' Day!

If you're like me, you probably didn't realize today was a National Holiday until you were on your way to work and there was significantly less traffic on the roads. Or in my case, people on the subway. Or if you have kids in school and they are at home today. My memory lapse does not in any way reflect my gratitude to the Veterans and Active Service men and women who make my way of life possible. It just sneaks up on me, and as I have to work (not being a government lacky or bank teller), I usually don't have any idea in advance. But here's a big THANK YOU from lil' ol' me to all of you out there with a family member who was or is in the service. I myself have a handful. You make me proud to be an American and thankful I live in such a great place.
