Mayor Bill White told Houstonians to 'Hunker Down' and wait out Ike, but Bubba's Mom and Sis, who live in Houston city limits, were in a mandatory evacuation zip code, so they finally decided to come up here to Richardson to wait it out with us. Hooray! They had no problems getting here yesterday afternoon, thank God, and we are all doing fine. Even the doggies, who are not quite sure what is going on, but have only pooped in my house once, right after they go here. We have yet to determine the culprit, however. Drew is enjoying all the extra people to play with!

I'm so glad we came there - it was bad here! Gonna take a long time for this area to recover, but thankfully our homes are OK. Thank you again for housing us all!
I'm pretty sure it was Charlie who pooped in the kitchen. :-)
Ya'll need to remember that Charlie is a "senior" dog and that sometimes he gets stressed and does things he normally doesn't. While I would never poop in your kitchen, Katie Lady, I too get stressed sometimes and have to have retail therapy or bookstore therapy - or a margarita or something. Thanks for offering all of the above to help us through Ike.
