I'm done. It was fabulous. HP#7 lived up to my expectations, and that's all I'll say so I don't spoil it for those of you who haven't read it.
But like cjh, I'm a little sad that it's over. I'm tempted to go back and read a few of the parts again, as I get so excited to see where something is going in the plot that I tend to rush through it. I've always done that, read too fast and miss some things. But that's ok, this is one book I feel I'll read several times over. Probably the whole series, actually. Much to Bubba's chagrin, as he hates when I read them because I tend to get immersed and do nothing else, and he doesn't understand why I would want to re-read something I've already read. But, that's the difference between him and me.
Now I can get busy watching the movies, as I have waited until I read all the books to see any of the movies.

The books are always better than the movies, but you will enjoy the movies - they are very well done. We own them all (well, except the one that just came out) so you can borrow them from us if you want.
Yea! I'm glad you're done. I can't believe you made it all this time without seeing any of the movies. I agree with Bubba's Sis. They are really well done--they just have to leave so much out because of time constraints.
I didn't know you had avoided the movies. They certainly shaped my image of the characters as I read the book. I don't think I could have imagined a better Snape though. Grab some popcorn and enjoy!
The casting in the movies is so good. My favorites are Snape, Draco, Lucius, Luna, and Umbridge as far as accuracy goes with the way I pictured them when I read. You're so lucky you get to see the movies now!
