Instant Replay

I keep playing the top of the 9th over and over again in my head. I can't help it. I can't think of anything else. It's terrible. This is why I can't get too involved in games. I can live and die by them. I am my father's daughter. Papa was not able to sit through any basketball game in the stands with Mama I ever played in because it made him nervous. He'd stand over on the side with the smokers and sneak in and out to keep tabs on the action. He couldn't watch, and I never understood. It used to make me upset and angry. Now I get it. I can't handle the pressure. I'm depressed today, and all I can think about is the last 3 batters and how close we were. Instant replay of something I would like never to have happened and never to have to see again. It's over. Yes, I know tomorrow is another day, but yesterday was our day, and yesterday is over. And there is no tomorrow.

Did you see Bush Sr. and Babs standing up? Everyone was biting their nails. I couldn't believe it! It's not over yet, though. The fat lady ain't even in the building!

I missed the game but caught some reports on the internet late last night. The good thing is that there are two more chances to get it done. The Astros never make it easy on their fans, but they'll make it through to the big series this year. I just feel for you having to try to console Joel today. I'm sure he is in a funk.

Yes, Bubba was in a particularly nasty funk, then got pooped on by a pigeon in the park! I know, it's funny now, but at the time, he wasn't very happy.

God doesn't want the Astros in the Series.

I told you the O.C. was better.
