All. The. Time.
I have lost a few pounds the last few weeks or so, even my parents commented on how thin I look. I'm not bragging, trust me. I eat A LOT, too. I'm a bit worried because I can't seem to get enough calories! It's got to be the breast-feeding. I am supposed to get 500 extra calories a day, because Drew will take what he needs, and if I didn't get more, I'd waste away! I'm still pretty flabby in the mid-section (that's what happens when you get such a big belly), but all my pre-preggo clothes are a bit loose!
I was going just fine, but for some reason I just can't seem to eat enough these days. I'm trying to be healthy about it, too. However, sometimes eating a whole box of Nilla Wafers is all that will satisfy me. Hmmm, you'd think I was pregnant! Don't worry, I'm not.
Lately I've been craving protein. At least I think that's what it is. I can't quite decide, actually. All I know is that my cravings aren't being satisfied, and protein seems to be the main thing that is missing during the day. Because who just randomly has meat laying around to snack on? Besides bologna, which isn't exactly the best for you, but it may come to that here in a minute....
For now, I'm eating a bag of chips and some salsa. At least the salsa is good for me. It's veggies, right?

Baloney is meat?
Of course salsa is good for you! It's absolutely veggies!
You SURE you're not preggo again?
;-)
Yes, I'm sure. Not absolutely positive, mind you, but 90% sure. I still haven't been visited by Aunt Flo, thanks again to the nursing. :) It's been a nice, L-O-N-G hiatus. But that's for another post.
Hmmm. Maybe it's the winter weather. I mean I know we're supposed to be above all that Mother Nature stuff these days, but I think we still revert some days. Or maybe DB is going through a growth spurt?
Try some mixed nuts for protein. Quick, easy to grab as you go chasing after DB.
Beef jerky is beef you can keep laying around. I'd recommend making your own.

Don't let the difficult rating fool you. It's easy to make. And it makes the whole house smell delicious... which you may not want if you're hungry already.
What about making a big pot of ground beef & vegetable soup using lots of either fresh or canned veggies...carrots, green beans, chopped celery, chopped onion, beef broth and canned fire roasted tomatoes and if you need to add more broth and don't want to open another box, just use water and add a bouillion cube to taste....don't add too many too soon as bouillion is quite salty so maybe you'd do better using the crystals instead as you can control the amount better. Cook beef, drain and then saute onion and celery, add veggies and the beef, broth, tomatoes and simmer for as long as you can stand it. I add a bay leaf which I take out before serving. This is the type of recipe you can you improve on yourself as you taste it. You can also add some elbow macaroni or chopped up potato or rice. Just whatever the soup jar has in it. Good way to save up veggies for soup...make a mayo jar into your saving jar ~ put left over veggies in it and keep in freezer.
I'm hungry all the time too and don't really have time to eat with two kids. I get really hungry and realize its 3 and I missed lunch. At work I'm better about eating as I'm super scheduled, but sometimes it is hard to find time to eat there too.
I eat nuts. Lots of them.
I'm a firm believer that if you eat healthy food, you have to eat a lot more of it to not gain weight as compared to junk. When I lose weight, I eat a ton of food.....just none of it bad.
I think you're knocked up. Or maybe Drew is just in a growth spurt.
