I bought our tickets for The Great Texas Move today. And I only paid $267 for 2 first-class tickets to Amarillo (one way, of course)!!! Well, the flight to Dallas is first class, as there is only coach on the small plane to Amarillo.
This should make flying with a newborn MUCH easier. Plus, we get a meal AND cocktails! I rule!!!

well done on the first class. we got great first class tix with points, just 45k each to caligornia this summer. it is the point rate that they advertise, but that you can never get.

Angelq, the FC is only for the flight to Dallas. Amarillo flights are on the small jets with only coach class. Sorry, no trips to Amarillo for you anytime soon!
We bought one-way tickets that happened to be super-cheap, only $113 each (it is routinely around $300 to fly to Amarillo from here, round-trip), and I called to see how many miles it would take to upgrade. It was only 15,000 for one-way, and Bubba had enough for both of us, so I jumped on it. I may start doing this all the time, provided we have enough miles. I've only been upgraded once, and it was on a Continental flight to NYC a few years ago. It was great! I'm so excited!
Plus we are dumping our AA miles because we are moving to a Continental city, and Continental is way better than AA right now.
I heart Continental. And now Southwest.
